Young Love
Him: Alright man actually this is all going to have to wait a while, I just received some interesting news that made me realize I really should stop sucking random guys cocks.
You: lol oh yeah? what news is that?
Him: Well my girlfriend of 6 years officially told me while I was at the mall with her today that she wants to get married. We're moving to New York next week, that's where I'm going to go to college. Sorry to bore you with all this, but I'm just so damn happy. All my time is going to be devoted to her, and packing. I'm sure I'll be back in town around holidays and I'll drop you an e-mail. But I'm sorry I'm just so excited. I need to set aside man slutting myself out for a while.

I love the close-up strummings here and the woman’s voice is pretty, though I don’t like the tinny quality of the voice recording. But any song about Northern winter is a welcome massage to my January muscles.

Love
by Jack Spicer

Tender as an eagle it swoops down
Washing all our faces with its rough tongue.
Chained to a rock and in that rock, naked,
All of the faces.
